Automobiles that still have halogen headlights
Nisa Khan, PhD, 2024:
“That light coming out of LED is the worst thing you could do to a human being or any species or even plants.”
There are still a few automobiles that have halogen headlights, for now anyway. I absolutely hate LED. LED light is horrible and harmful. It is bad enough all of the other unnecessary and unhealthy technologies they have put in automobiles. Usually, only the lower tier trims have the halogen lights. The following list might not be complete.
- Nissan 2025 Frontier S (midsize pickup truck)
- 265/70R16 (30.7 in dia.) tires ; might also fit 245/75R16 (30.5 in dia.) tires
- 16 x 7 in wheel rims steel
- 3.8L V6 DI engine (direct injection, unfortunately)
- 9-speed automatic transmission
- Rigid/solid rear axle
- Power windows & door locks
- King Cab S 4x4 + Splash guards, Drop-in bedliner, Floor mats = $37,695
- Crew Cab S 4x4 + Splash guards, Drop-in bedliner, Floor mats = $39,095
- Jeep 2025 Wrangler Sport (compact 2-door & midsize 4-door SUV)
- The simplest (and I think most desirable) version (Sport) is only available in the USA & Canada
- Successor to the circa 1940s Willys-Overland Jeep CJ models
- 245/75R17 (31.5 in dia.) tires ; might also fit 265/70R17 (31.7 in dia.) tires
- 17 x 7.5 in wheel rims steel
- 3.6L V6 engine ("indirect" manifold injection, preferable to direct injection)
- 6-speed manual transmission (8-speed automatic transmission +$2,500, but changes the engine to 2.0L I4 direct injection turbo engine)
- Rigid/solid front and rear axles
- Manual windows & door locks
- 2-door Sport 4x4 + 3-piece hard top = $36,380 ($38,880 with auto. trans.)
- 4-door Sport 4x4 + 3-piece hard top = $40,980 ($43,480 with auto. trans.)
The Toyota Tacoma (midsize pickup truck) is a sad loss, as none of the new ones have halogen headlights anymore, and they are way too modern. I like the older Tacoma trucks.
In certain countries around the world, the following are also available with halogen headlights, circa 2024. Usually, only the lower tier trims have the halogen lights. The following list might not be complete.

Radiofrequency technologies have become unavoidable in new automobiles (except perhaps the UAZ Hunter and UAZ Classic) and are another horrible and harmful technology.
Joel Moskowitz, PhD, 2024:
“In 1975, Allan Frey published a paper in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences which reported that exposure to low intensity microwave radiation could open the blood-brain barrier...
“The blood-brain barrier is a special layer of cells in the brain that prevents chemical toxins in the blood system from reaching the brain. Breaching this barrier could potentially lead to neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases and brain cancer.
“More than a dozen peer-reviewed studies have replicated Frey's findings--exposure to low intensity microwave radiation can open the blood-brain barrier.”
Almost every technology being pushed nowadays is horrible for environment and health. And almost nobody cares. It is really bad. LED lights, radiofrequency technologies, genetic engineering, fake-green technologies like industrial wind and solar, battery storage, electric vehicles. Not to mention the push for digital everything, generating huge amounts of toxic pollution and using huge amounts of mineral resources, water and energy, run by incompetent people storing private data (much of which they shouldn't even have) unencrypted on public "cloud" systems and allowing a continuous series of data breaches. What the heck. The only true eco is natural, low-tech and less.
